HKBIA is organising a one-day familiarisation visit to Nansha, Guangzhou, on Friday 9 October 2026, at the invitation of the Nansha District authorities. Members will see the district’s shipbuilding and yacht cluster first-hand and meet the district bureaux on the new Greater Bay Area yacht free-travel policy.

Places: maximum 10 persons, members only, first come first served. Registration closes Friday 25 September 2026 or when full.

16:20–17:00 Nansha Marina (Nansha Yacht Club)
17:00–18:00 Exchange session with the District Bureaux of Commerce (yacht free-travel policy; “100 Boat Owners Gather in Nansha”), Culture, Tourism & Sports, and Industry & IT (yacht manufacturing and repair)
18:00 Return to Hong Kong

Please note

  • No HKBIA charge. Participants buy their own high-speed rail tickets to Nansha North and back.
  • A valid Mainland Travel Permit (Home Return Permit) or Chinese visa is required. Please enter your travel document type when registering; details will be collected for the hosts.
  • Meeting point and train time will be confirmed to registrants.
